Co-session #8 (Dance & Music)

Co-Session #8 door Collectief Imprography keert terug naar het resonerende podium van Splendor, als een nieuwe stap in de voortdurende verkenning van het 'unfolding present'. Sinds 2018 dient deze serie als een laboratorium voor het vluchtige, waar de grenzen tussen toeschouwer en creatie vervagen in een gezamenlijke ademteug.

In deze achtste editie presenteren we een uniek gebalanceerd ensemble van zes performers die samenkomen om de delicate architectuur van real-time compositie te verkennen. Deze sessie is een uitnodiging om getuige te zijn van een diepgaande, rauwe dialoog waarin geluid gewicht krijgt en beweging een eigen resonantie draagt.

Het muzikale landschap wordt gevormd door de lyrische precisie van Michael Moore, de avontuurlijke en tactiele energie van Nora Mulder, en de verfijnde, glinsterende texturen van Kate Moore. Hun klankwereld vindt een fysieke tegenhanger in de viscerale en poëtische aanwezigheid van dansers Goda Zukauskaite, Maria Pisiou en Miri Lee. Samen betreden zij de ruimte, klaar om intuïtief te reageren op de vraag hoe we het ‘tussengebied’ bewonen—tussen stilte en geluid, tussen stilstand en flow.

Co-Session #8 by Collectief Imprography returns to the resonant stage of Splendor, marking a new chapter in its ongoing exploration of the ‘unfolding present.’ Since 2018, this series has served as a laboratory for the ephemeral, where the boundaries between the spectator and the act of creation dissolve into a shared breath.

In this 8th edition, we present a uniquely balanced constellation of six performers who converge to navigate the delicate architecture of real-time composition. This session is an invitation to witness a profound, raw dialogue where sound possesses weight and movement carries its own resonance.

The musical landscape is shaped by the lyrical precision of Michael Moore, the adventurous and tactile energy of Nora Mulder, and the intricate, shimmering textures of Kate Moore. Their sonic world finds its physical counterpoint in the visceral and poetic presence of dancers Goda Zukauskaite, Maria Pisiou, and Miri Lee. Together, they enter the space with an acute readiness to respond, questioning how we inhabit the "in-between" of silence and sound, stillness and flow.
