Lido Pimienta

Lido Pimienta is a Colombian-Canadian musician, artist, and composer who blends Afro-Indigenous rhythms from her native Colombia with electronic music, pop, and experimental composition. Through albums such as ‘Miss Colombia’ and ‘La Belleza’, she explores themes of identity, colonial history, and community. On her latest album, ‘Caribenya’, Pimienta brings her musical worlds together in a vibrant mix of cumbia, dembow, ambient sounds, and pop. Danceable rhythms, personal storytelling, and social consciousness are woven throughout her work.
