For over thirty years, the British trio Saint Etienne have been forging their own unique path at the crossroads of indie pop, electronic music and dance. Since their breakthrough in the early 1990s, Bob Stanley, Pete Wiggs and singer Sarah Cracknell have interwoven dreamy vocals, pop and synthesisers with influences from house, disco and 1960s British pop. Their musical curiosity has remained unchanged over the years, ranging from nostalgic pop collages to almost ambient-style electronica. In 2025, ‘International’ was released, billed as their final studio album. In 2027, Saint Etienne will bring their rich musical oeuvre to Tolhuistuin.
